What exactly does your service include?
What's included is four hours of pouring drinks and entertaining your guests. We come at least an extra hour early for free to make sure we are all ready for when your guests start to arrive. We'll also bring along all professional-grade bartending tools and equipment.
How much do you charge if I want to keep you for an extra hour?
If you’d like us to remain past your original quote, charges will amount to $50 per hour per bartender.
What if I only need a bartender for a couple of hours?
All of our packages are customizable to fit your event needs best. Please don’t hesitate to ask if your party has special requirements.
Do you come with a bar?
We can provide a beautiful portable bar which lights up to your choice of sixteen different LED color variations. It comes standard with white plexiglass paneling or can be upgraded to wood paneling for vintage/rustic themed events (subject to availability).
Are you licensed?
While Mobile Mixologist is not licensed to sell alcohol, our professional staff are all TIPS certified with several years of experience in the service and catering industry.
Are you insured?
We are fully insured for liquor liability up to two million dollars, however, it is imperative that you purchase your own event insurance to fully protect yourself and your guests. You can purchase insurance for your party at privateeventinsurance.com.
Can you tell me what alcohol I need to buy?
We’ll provide you with a custom shopping list with recommendations on where to buy beer, wine and liquor at the lowest pricing and offer you suggestions on quantities and selections.
What do I need to purchase to stock a standard cocktail bar?
The essentials: Vodka, Gin, Rum & a Bourbon Whiskey.
Optional Spirits: Tequila, Scotch Whiskey & Brandy/Cognac.
What mixers and garnishes do you provide?
Depending on the signature cocktails you select, we can provide any of the following:
Juices - cranberry, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, tomato, lemon or lime juice (fresh squeezed when possible or concentrate)
Mixes - Bloody Mary, Michelada & Margarita mix
Carbonated beverages - Club Soda, Tonic Water, Ginger Ale & Ginger Beer
Flavoring ingredients - Salt, pepper or horseradish for drinks like Bloody Marys, grenadine, orgeat, simple syrup & fruit purées
Garnishes - lemon or lime wedges, orange slices, Maraschino cherries, olives, cocktail onions, celery stalks, cucumber, mint or basil leaves, blueberries & raspberries
Can I create my own cocktail menu?
Absolutely! We would love to help you personalize your event with a special cocktail menu that you created. All of our signature cocktails are completely customizable to your liking, and you are welcome to make any additions or changes you prefer.
Do your bartenders wear uniforms?
Our professional staff arrive well-dressed in all black, classy attire.
Do your bartenders put out a tip jar?
Gratuities for staff are not included but are graciously accepted for a job well done. In the case that a tip jar is not permitted, hosted gratuity is recommended and greatly appreciated. We ask that you pay a minimum of $2-3.00 per guest.
Do you charge for Travel?
We do not charge travel for service within 30 miles of Modesto, CA. If we have to travel beyond 30 miles, we may require $1/mile over our 30 mile “in-town” radius. Accommodations are preferred for events that are over two hours away or if next day clean up is desired.
What does the event production fee cover?
The event production fee offsets labor and administration costs such as equipment washing, packing for your event, shopping for supplies, clean up, site visits, liquor liability insurance & travel.
